Scandal before the "Arena" program on No Billag
According to a report in the SonntagsZeitung, there was a scandal behind the scenes on Friday evening before the third "Arena" television program on the No Billag initiative.
No Billag initiator Olivier Kessler described presenter Jonas Projer as a Billag profiteer who should therefore not be allowed to present the program. Kessler had then demanded to be able to conduct the interview with Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard herself, but this was refused. Several Arena-participants confirmed the incident to the newspaper and spoke of "crass" behavior. Kessler, for his part, spoke of an "SRF scandal arena". (SDA)
