NZZ launches new app and new digital subscription

From Wednesday, the completely revamped NZZ app with innovative features will be available. At the same time, the NZZ is launching a new digital subscription for the content of NZZ.ch and NZZaS.ch.

The NZZ mobile application for iOS and Android now features the new NZZ.ch design. In addition to the classic view, the application offers numerous additional functionalities in the new "My NZZ" area. Registered users will find, for example, briefings updated several times throughout the day with the most important information of the day as well as a watch list function to save articles in their personal account. All the new functionalities will also be introduced on NZZ.ch at the same time and will be available across all devices at all times. In addition, users will find individually compiled reading recommendations with particularly relevant topics under "Meine NZZ". These recommendations are based on editorial assessment on the one hand, and on users' individual reading behavior on the other. "With the combination of curated content and the new 'Meine NZZ' section, we offer our readers a unique reading experience in the usual NZZ quality," explains Eric Gujer, Editor-in-Chief of the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung." New subscription structure in three stages

At the same time as the new app, the NZZ is simplifying its product structure. The NZZ is now available for purchase in three clearly defined products: NZZ Digital, NZZ Digital Plus, and NZZ Print & Digital. NZZ Digital is a new entry-level product that offers access to the content of the NZZ app and NZZ.ch for CHF 20 per month. It is available as a monthly subscription and can be canceled at any time. The NZZ Digital Plus subscription also offers access to the e-paper and other services such as the NZZ archive or exclusive NZZ events. With the NZZ Print & Digital subscription, subscribers also receive the printed edition of the newspaper.
