MySports, the new Swiss sports channel, launched almost two months ago. Since then, four more distribution partners have joined. They now also offer the MySports program. Glattwerk operates in Dübendorf, R. Geissmann in the region of northwestern Switzerland, Fiberstream in Lachen and AjoieNet in the canton of Jura. Together, the four new partners reach over 20,000 households.

MySports: For the sport. For the fans

Bruno Alluisetti, Head of Telecommunications at Glattwerk is delighted: "Dübendorf is home to many field hockey fans. But with MySports, we can offer sports fans much more: Many highlights from international soccer, handball or motor sports complete the comprehensive MySports offer."

Anina Lesmann, member of the management board at R. Geissmann: "I am convinced that the model consisting of a basic transmitter, which we make available to all our customers at no additional cost, and a premium package is very well received by our customers."

René Mächler, Managing Director at Fiberstream: "MySports' sports programming is diverse and innovative. I am sure that the channel will be very well received by sports enthusiasts in our area. "

Jean-Charles Petignat, owner of AjoieNet commented: "I am very pleased that with MySports our customers will be able to follow many other exciting live sports content in addition to HC Ajoie matches in the Swiss League."

The MySports family thus continues to grow. As the rights holder, UPC makes the MySports signal available to its distribution partners. They are free to design their own offerings and compete with each other.
