Tamedia launches the urban newsletter Urbani

Tamedia is launching a new, free city briefing for the city of Zurich on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 under the motto "We'll get you out there".

The Briefing is published from Sunday to Friday after midday in the form of an e-mail newsletter and - as the name suggests - is aimed at an urban, young audience aged between 25 and 45. In addition to tips on current events, workshops, new bars and restaurants, exhibitions and concerts, the briefing will always include a thematic focus such as fitness, dating or cooking.

The newsletter is based on suitable and thematically relevant articles from all Tamedia platforms, selected and supplemented by a young editorial team. By the end of the year, Urbani will also be launched for the city of Geneva in collaboration with Tamedia's publications in western Switzerland.

Marc Isler, Head of Digital Sales Development, on the new newsletter: "With Urbani we want to inspire a new target group for our local content. The style and layout are clearly different from today's offerings. If the service is a success, Urbani will also appear in other Swiss cities."
