Cooperation between SRG SSR and SDA to be extended until end of year
SRG and the Swiss Dispatch Agency (SDA) are extending their cooperation. In this partnership, Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) and Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) provide sda with daily news videos of the most important domestic and foreign news.
SRG and SDA created basic structures for efficient cooperation with a cooperation agreement at the beginning of the year. Since February 2, 2017, the SRG Enterprise Unit SRF and RTS have been providing SDA with daily video content. This involves news videos with important domestic and foreign news from the various departments. SDA customers can publish the videos and also commercialize them with advertising. The pilot phase will now be extended until the end of the year. After that, the collaboration is to be rolled out on a regular basis. Nine sda customers are currently testing the video offering from SRF and RTS. In German-speaking Switzerland, they are Schaffhauser Nachrichten, Bieler Tagblatt, Radio Pilatus, Bluewin, Watson and Radio Top and LikeMag; in French-speaking Switzerland, RTS clips can be seen on Laliberte.ch Journaldujura.ch.
