Seven VJs successfully complete RSS and MAZ training course

In the 33-day course, run by the MAZ Lucerne and the RSS Media School St. Gallen, seven VJs acquired comprehensive skills and have now completed the course with an examination.

Their job is highly demanding: they have to master the journalistic craft, be technically adept - and act with psychological sensitivity in delicate situations. The courses covered the principles of visual language, media law and ethical issues, basic knowledge of politics, business and justice, attractive storytelling and working in multimedia contexts. The course is subsidised by Bakom and is aimed exclusively at VJs who work in licensed private TV stations. The registration deadline for the next course is 15 September 2017.

The graduates (the names of the broadcasters are in brackets): Matthias Kempf (Telebasel), Werner Kurmann (Tele1), Tobias Lenherr (TVO), Dominik Meienberg (TeleBärn), Anja Muster (TeleBielingue), Sabine Steiner (Kanal9), Sarah Wagner (Tele M1).
