For two francs, users get 24-hour access to the entire digital offering of the selected title, including e-paper and premium content marked with Abo+. In German-speaking Switzerland, the articles in the 12 app and, in combination with BZ Berner Zeitung, Der Bund, or Tages-Anzeiger, Das Magazin can also be accessed in full.

The Day Pass is now available for the BZ Berner Zeitung, the Berner Oberländer, the BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt as well as the Thuner Tagblatt and the Tages-Anzeiger. In July, 24heures, Der Bund, Der Landbote, Tribune de Genève, Zürcher Unterländer and Zürichsee-Zeitung will follow. The Day Pass can be purchased either in the app store of the respective providers or in the Tamedia subscription store.

The offer is intended to complement longer-term subscriptions and enable occasional use at an attractive price, beyond the free offer, to make use of the varied editorial offer of Tamedia's paid daily newspapers.

In addition to the introduction of the Day Pass, Tamedia is also testing other offers among its users. For example, tests are currently underway for a mobile-only subscription, as a supplement to the classic subscriptions, in which the offer is available with one login on several end devices, such as desktop computer, tablet or mobile. In addition, various A/B tests are currently underway for simpler communication of the various subscriptions.
