The new magazine is aimed at executives in German-speaking countries four times a year. It gets to the bottom of economic, social and cultural issues that are relevant to decision-makers. "With long reading pieces and a high-quality visual language, Gomagazin aims to set a counterpoint to the short fodder of the digital media," says the statement.

"Our aim is to use the Gomagazine to provide executives in our fast-moving times with sustainable, valuable impulses for their everyday professional and private lives," says Friedemann Hagenbuch, president of the International Association of Christian Business People and Executives IVCG, which publishes the new publication. Last but not least, the IVCG wants to show that Christian values represent added value in times of globalization and digitalization.
The gomagazine will be available at major newsstands, business hotels and airports, among other places. Based on a key theme, it takes up issues of our time. "We don't scratch the surface. We give topics the time and space they need to go into depth," says Co-Editor-in-Chief Stephan Lehmann-Maldonado.

First edition on the theme of "murder

The 116-page first issue is published in a print run of 45,000 copies and revolves entirely around "murder. "We chose this somewhat provocative topic because it has more to do with our everyday lives, values and decisions than one might assume at first glance," explains Simon Jahn, who is also responsible for editing the magazine. In issue 1, profiler Axel Petermann is joined by Orascom Development Holding founder Samih Sawiris, the former head of Intersport, Klaus Jost, master chef Beat Caduff, and one of the last polymaths, Professor Prabhu Guptara.

Responsible at IVCG Publications, Suhr: Simon Jahn, Stephan Lehmann-Maldonado (editors). Responsible at Basel West Corporate Communications: Thomas Aerni (concept/consulting); Michael Aerni (design).
