The Video Newsfeed offer provides a valuable multimedia extension for existing customers. The Swiss Dispatch Agency SDA is transforming itself into a multimedia news agency. Conceived as an integral part of SDA's basic service, the video newsfeed includes news videos with national relevance on important topics in politics, business, society, culture and sports. In the process, SDA news managers provide content input directly to Keystone's production team, which operates decentrally from three locations: Zurich, Bern and Lausanne.

In addition, the 13 SDA regional bureaus contribute raw footage of events. The material is processed by Keystone's experienced video journalists and delivered by SDA to its customers. The exchange and gain of know-how through the cooperation of SDA and Keystone ensure continuous production and guarantee professional video products for reporting from Switzerland.

Winfried Kösters and Federico Bragagnini, deputy editors-in-chief, and their teams of news managers are responsible for content on the part of SDA - in the area of marketing and sales, they are supported by Roger Mosimann. The contacts for the production of the video newsfeed at Keystone are Tomas Kadlcik, Editor-in-Chief, and Stephan Mark, Head of Video. Stephan Mark succeeds Marcel Gutbrod as of December 1, 2016.

The entire editorial workflow will be integrated into SDA's existing editorial system, allowing for optimal production. Web videos are envisaged, raw and ready to publish, but also articles, interviews and quotes set to music and edited. So-called "silent videos", web videos without sound but with subtitles, are planned as well as live feeds.
