Thomas Morgenthaler died on Thursday morning at the age of 62 of a severe heart attack in the Inselspital Bern. Morgenthaler was managing director and co-founder of Radio Beo.

"Radio Beo loses with Thomas Morgenthaler one of the founding fathers of our radio, who has worked with unique commitment in over 30 years for Radio Beo," Radio Beo announced on its website Thursday evening. "The team of Radio Beo will greatly miss his extremely great humanity and kindness," the statement continued. Radio Beo will pay tribute to Thomas Morgenthaler's work and commitment to Radio Beo at a later date. (SDA)
