Bragagnini is the new head of the SDA's French editorial office

Federico Bragagnini, 46, is to become the new head of the French-language SDA editorial office. He succeeds Béat Grossenbacher, who becomes town clerk of the municipality of St. Imier.


Bragagnini will take up his post on 1 March 2017 at the latest. With Federico Bragagnini, an experienced agency journalist is taking over as head of SDA's French-language editorial department. Bragagnini has worked for sda for a total of 12 years in various functions, most recently as Head of the Foreign Affairs Department from 1 April 2001 to 31 March 2009. He then moved to Swissinfo, where he has held several management positions over the past seven years. He currently heads the trilingual "Switzerland" editorial team. In addition to his journalistic work, he has successfully managed various projects at Swissinfo. Bragagnini has a wealth of experience in multimedia. He can support the agency in its transformation into a multimedia content provider. Bragagnini grew up in the canton of Jura and completed his studies in Neuchâtel. He is married and the father of two daughters.
