New head of news for Schweizer Illustrierte
Jessica Pfister, currently head of politics at Schweizer Illustrierte, will become the new head of news at the same magazine on January 1, 2017.
She succeeds Philipp Mäder, who will move to SonntagsBlick as Deputy Editor-in-Chief on February 1, 2017 (Werbewoche.ch reported). The 36-year-old studied journalism and communications at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and subsequently worked in various editorial departments as political and news editor, including the Aargauer Zeitung and 20 Minuten. She joined Schweizer Illustrierte in September 2013 - initially as news editor, and since January 2015 as head of politics.
