Association of Swiss Media: Andreas Häuptli takes over management definitively

Andreas Häuptli joined the association in October 2014 as Head of Marketing. Before that, he spent almost twelve years in management positions at the publishing house of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and was also a member of the NZZ Executive Board. Häuptli knows his way around both the print and digital media worlds. The 48-year-old holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Brand and Marketing Management. From his previous jobs, he brings experience from the telecom industry and agency world.

The Swiss Media Association is delighted that Andreas Häuptli, such a proven and committed media expert, is taking over as CEO. His main focus will be on representing the interests of private Swiss media companies and ensuring fair conditions in the media market. In addition, the association's services must be further expanded in a forward-looking manner.
