Joiz launches comeback of TV legend Kurt Schaad

Joiz launches a new show: On "Jung und Schaad," Kurt Schaad and Joiz figurehead Gülsha Adilji discuss drug trips, development aid and the refugee crisis.

Kurt Schaad, 65, is an SRF TV legend, a travel expert and - in Gülsha's words - the "cool uncle of Joiz. Gülsha Adilji, 30, is the cheeky face of Joiz and, as Kurt would say, "a do-gooder." When a do-gooder and an old-68er drink wine together at the same table and philosophize about God and the world, it provides fuel for the fire.

In the new show "Jung und Schaad" two generations and thus two perspectives on life meet. Kurt Schaad returns to the screen after six years together with Gülsha Adilji. Why they are doing this together, they explain themselves in a message:

Kurt Schaad: "Gülsha and I like to discuss things with each other. At some point she said, 'We could do that even if a camera is running.' "Why not?" I said in response. Through Gülsha, I am confronted with the views of Generation Y as an AHV recipient. It's stimulating and challenging."

Gülsha Adilji: "Kurt and I were sitting together in a meeting and suddenly we had a heated discussion about the army. Then, by chance, the idea actually arose that you could also record that. I'm especially looking forward to the broadcast in which I said things like "Abolish democracy!" in a feverish frenzy.
