Partnership between Cineman and Daily Movies
Cineman Romandie and the Western Swiss cinema magazine Daily Movies are entering into a close editorial partnership with immediate effect. Both titles will remain independent.
The purely editorial collaboration - centered around the exchange of top formats such as news, reviews interviews and festival coverage - does not change the independence of Cineman Romandie and Daily Movies, according to the statement; however, it should allow both titles to do even more for cinema culture in Switzerland, something they have been committed to for many years. With this partnership, Cineman and Daily Movies also want to strengthen their position in the Swiss cinema landscape.
With over one million visits per month, Cineman is the leading cinema portal in Switzerland. In addition to the complete Swiss cinema program, film fans can find reviews, trailers and images of their favorite films, news from the world of film, and interviews with top stars. On Cineman, every registered user can submit his or her personal review or rate films and thus become a member of Switzerland's largest film jury. Cineman can also be downloaded as a mobile app. One in two moviegoers already uses Cineman to find out what's going on in the movies.
Daily Movies is the most complete cinema magazine in French-speaking Switzerland, appealing to a broad audience across all age groups. Published in an unusual newspaper format, the monthly magazine is available free of charge in all cinemas in French-speaking Switzerland, but can also be subscribed to free of charge thanks to various partners. Daily Movies offers high-quality information on film and cinema in a high circulation.
