APG wins the Media Trend Award for the first time

At this year's Media Trend Award, the media providers had to settle for second and third place behind the biggest billboard provider APG. Among the media marketers, the trophy goes to Goldbach Media for another year.

There were 44 entrants in the media provider category, and 24 in the media marketer category. Broken down by media genre, this means: 25 print media companies, 10 poster providers (both unchanged) and 33 electronic media companies. Those who wanted to win the Media Trend Award had to convince both the top 750 advertising clients, the biggest advertising agencies and all media agencies with good performance in planning and handling media orders.

In the almost 20 years since the Media Trend Award was established, only the very first time the winner of the award did not come from a newspaper publisher. Markus Ehrle, CEO of APG|SGA, on the successful first place: "We would like to thank our valued advertising customers and agency partners for the above-average rating, and also our approximately 650 employees for their outstanding commitment throughout Switzerland. This first place is a nice reward for our efforts to constantly improve our medium, our offer and our services. And, let it be promised, we will not rest in the future."
