Two new members on the SDA Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the news agency SDA has two new members. The General Meeting elected Hanspeter Kellermüller and Thierry Meyer to this body on Wednesday. They succeed Albert P. Stäheli and Eric Hösli, who have resigned.

Hanspeter Kellermüller, Secretary General of the NZZ Media Group since September 2009, sits on the SDA Board of Directors as a representative of the NZZ. Thierry Meyer, Editor-in-Chief of the French-speaking Swiss daily 24 Heures, represents the interests of the Tamedia publishing house. Like all SDA board members, Kellermüller and Meyer are elected for one year. The SDA Board of Directors will continue to be chaired by Hans Heinrich Coninx for the 2014/2015 period. The Board also includes Valérie Boagno, Walter Bachmann, Matthias Hagemann, Hanspeter Lebrument and Pietro Supino. At the AGM, SDA shareholders approved the annual report and financial statements for 2013, which closed with slightly lower sales of CHF 26.1 million (previous year: CHF 26.6 million). The operating result (EBIT) decreased to CHF 633,000 (664,000).
