Zurich Press Association with new president

Janosch Tröhler was elected to the Board of the Zurich Press Association at its General Meeting on May 22, 2014. Christian Maurer becomes the new President.

According to the press release, the journalist, who comes from the Winterthur region, is editorial director of the cultural magazine Negative White and an active member of the Young Journalists of Switzerland association, with which the ZPV and Impressum cooperate. He succeeds David Strohm (NZZ), who served on the board for seven years, including six years as president. The General Assembly elected Christian Maurer (Ringier), who most recently served as vice president, as the new president. His deputy will be television journalist Fabienne Köchli (SRF). All other board members remain in office.
