Sunday view in a new dress

The Sonntagsblick, appears in a new, revised form. In terms of content, the newspaper remains true to itself, but the layout has been refreshed and is intended to appear more modern, lighter and clearer.

The new Sonntagsblick look was designed by the American star newspaper designer Mario Garcia, together with the layout designers of the Blick Group, according to a statement. The newspaper has been visually refreshed and is now lighter, clearer and more modern. In addition to a generally new typography and plenty of space for current topics in the first section, generously designed opening pages for politics, business and people have resulted in better reader guidance. Together with the sports section, which has also been refreshed, and the redesigned Sonntagsblick magazine, the three sections of the newspaper now form a visually uniform family on paper of equal quality. In terms of content, Sonntagsblick remains true to its proven formula of "high-quality, cultivated boulevard". The Sonntagsblick magazine was able to sign up new columnists and continues to focus on family topics, entertainment and advice.

Editor-in-Chief Christine Maier on the new look: "Sonntagsblick will remain a Sunday newspaper for the whole family, even in its new look. We are and will remain a tabloid that is investigative and emotional. Always journalistically highly serious and competent." The relaunch is accompanied by a large-scale marketing campaign with promotions at newsstands and a TV commercial. In addition, the newly designed Sonntagsblick was distributed free of charge at the train stations in Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, Zurich and Zurich-Stadelhofen from 08:30 to 11:30 on the coming Sunday morning.
