3+: No Vujo successor found yet

The next "Bachelor" season is in the starting blocks - what's still missing is the male lead, according to Schweiz am Sonntag.

The fact that a successor to Vujo has not yet been found is not due to a lack of willingness to take part in the TV show. On the contrary: according to 3+ CEO Dominik Kaiser, interest is "significantly greater than last year". The castings have been going on for some time and "two very good candidates" have been identified so far. As the last "Bachelor", Vujo Gavric, was a cult figure on the private channel 3+ and ensured dream ratings, the bar for his successor is correspondingly high. That's why they don't want to make a decision until the summer and keep an eye out for other potential candidates until the very end. The third season of "The Bachelor" is scheduled to air from fall 2014. However, Kaiser is not relying on its ratings draw, but is also announcing the imminent completion of the docu-soap about the controversial married couple Walter and Irina Beller in addition to new seasons of "Bauer, ledig, sucht..." and "Notruf".
