Le Nouvelliste: New editor-in-chief

The editor-in-chief of Le Matin, Sandra Jean, is moving to the Valais newspaper Le Nouvelliste. She takes over the newly created position of editorial director there. The editor-in-chief of the Nouvelliste will be Vincent Fragnière, who previously headed the editorial department of the local television station Canal 9.

The board of directors wanted to strengthen the management structures of the various titles and therefore created the position of editorial director, the newspaper announced on Wednesday. Sandra Jean is to further develop the Nouvelliste brand and lead publishing projects for the printed and digital editions.

She will also head the magazines of the Hersant Group (ESH Médias). The media company Tamedia, which owns the newspaper Le Matin, thanked Sandra Jean for her work. The name of a successor at Le Matin would be announced at a later date.
