Faces now also in Russia

The Swiss lifestyle magazine Faces will be published in Russia for the first time this October. The Moscow-based publishing house "000 Eternity Productions" has secured the license for Russia, Belarus and Ukraine from the Swiss publisher Faces.

According to the press release, the expansion is continuing: following the launch of Faces Germany in November 2012, the first edition of Faces Russia will now follow in fall 2013. While Faces Germany is published by the Swiss publishing house itself, the company is working with a local partner in Russia. The rights have been secured by the publishing house "000 Eternity Productions", which was founded for this purpose. According to Filipp Schleiger, the publisher of Faces Russia and managing director of "000 Eternity Productions", Faces is intended to "build a bridge between the fashion cultures of East and West. We searched all over Europe for a fashion magazine with a strong identity. Faces is the ideal choice: it stands out from other magazines at first glance and has an extremely high recognition value."

The editorial concept and layout of the German-language edition will also be retained in Russia, while the content will be supplemented by local personalities and topics. The first issue will be published in October with an initial circulation of 50,000. For Stefan Berger, co-publisher of Faces, the expansion into Russia is "a further step in the development of Faces into an international lifestyle brand."
