SDA Board of Directors confirmed
The Board of Directors of the Swiss Dispatch Agency (SDA) was re-elected by shareholders on Wednesday in its current composition. Hans Heinrich Coninx is Chairman of SDA's top management and supervisory body.
In addition to Coninx, Valérie Boagno, Walter Bachmann, Matthias Hagemann, Eric Hoesli, Hanspeter Lebrument, Albert P. Stäheli and Pietro Supino are also members of the Board of Directors. They were all confirmed in office for a further year at the Annual General Meeting in Bern. SDA shareholders also approved the company's annual report and accounts. In 2012, SDA's parent company closed with an operating profit of CHF 664'000 on sales of CHF 26.6 million. The bottom line was a loss of 72'000 francs (Werbewoche.ch reported).
The SDA Group, which in addition to the parent company includes Sportinformation (100 percent), News Aktuell (50 percent), the photo agency Keystone (40 percent) and the financial news agency AWP (35 percent), achieved a consolidated profit of CHF 725'000 on sales of CHF 39.7 million. (SDA)
