Radio Bern 1 goes on the air

It has been known for several weeks that the city and region of Berne will be getting a new radio station, Radio Bern 1. radio station. Now the launch date has also been set: Radio Bern 1 will go on air for the first time on Tuesday, April 23 at 5:00 am.

"Musig wo's bringt" and a high level of regional news expertise are the promises of the new station, which is aimed at an adult audience in the greater Bern area (Werbewoche.ch reported). On Tuesday morning at 5 a.m., Monika Buser will accompany the people of Bern through the morning with numerous new radio programs, Radio Bern 1 announced in a press release on Monday. The premises to which the radio team will move shortly before the start of broadcasting will also be completely new.

The Radio Bern 1 team, which is largely made up of former Capital FM employees, is being strengthened just in time for the start of broadcasting. Presenter Regula Baumgartner and editor Patrizia Kaufmann will be joining the team. Regula Baumgartner will alternate with Monika Buser to present the new morning show "Guete Morge Bärn". She was a presenter and editor at Radio Emme, Radio BE1 and Energy Bern for five years. Patrizia Kaufmann started her career at Radio BE1, where she worked as an editor and presenter for three years after a two-year traineeship.
