SRG and Athletissima Lausanne extend cooperation
SRG and Athletissima Lausanne have agreed to extend their long-standing partnership for another four years until 2016. SRG, as host broadcaster, will produce the international television signal of the athletics meeting, which is part of the Diamond League series, until 2016.
In addition, SRG will receive all media exploitation rights for radio, television, online and mobile for the territory of Switzerland. The contract extension underscores SRG's partnership with Switzerland's top sporting events, said Urs Leutert, head of SRG's Sport business unit, in an SRG statement on Pressportal.ch. Jacky Delapierre, meeting director Athletissima Lausanne, is convinced that viewers will also benefit from the agreement with the national public service provider.
