AZ Medien: Sale of Radio 32 stake
AZ Medien has sold its minority stake of 11.28 percent in Radio 32 to Multimedia Gassmann. The media company has thus completely divested itself of its stake in Radio 32. Its representative on the Board of Directors has resigned.
Multimedia Gassmann now holds 16.28 percent of Radio 32. AZ Medien had already divested itself of its majority stake at the time in May 2012, thus fulfilling a provision of the RTVG according to which a media company may not own more than two radios. AZ Medien wrote this in a statement on Friday. AZ Medien's majority shareholder, BT Holding, already owns two radio stations, Radio Argovia and Radio 24.
