Relaunch for Züritipp Online
The digital edition of Züritipp will undergo a cosmetic redesign on June 1, 2012 and will be supplemented by the expanded city blog.
In terms of content, the blog covers current city stories, socio-political and cultural topics, as detailed in a press release on Thursday. Züritipp online editor David Sarasin and the newly recruited Reda El Arbi, satirist, blogger and former Zurich editor in the Blick newsroom, are responsible for the editorial content.
"We keep a keen eye on the topics that move the people of Zurich," says David Sarasin about the stories planned for the blog. El Arbi adds: "The city blog remains very close to the reader, both in terms of language and topics. As bloggers, we are allowed to convey opinions, moods and subjective experiences. However, readers add value through their own participation in the discussions in the comment columns."
Proven content will be retained in the new design: The well-founded journalistic print articles on cultural events in Zurich are still shown online and supplemented by the digital agenda in a user-friendly way.
