NZZ Folio at Swiss Television

The current NZZ folio on the subject of "On Swiss Television" was published on Monday. 15 journalists have researched the Leutschenbach and show in the booklet what happens during 24 hours at SF.

What do Swiss households get for their 293 francs in television fees, asks editor Barbara Klingbacher in the editorial. What kind of programs should be shown? The current issue of the Folio reveals, among other things, what Catholic bishops don't like to see on television, which viewers distort the statistics, how many millions of francs Swiss television earns thanks to advertising and sponsoring, and how much money can be made with telephone participation campaigns.

The stories in the booklet follow the program structure of Swiss television, from daytime to late evening and nighttime programming. The programs are presented in chronological order, whereby the authors do not limit themselves to a single day of the week, but show various programs from the weekly schedule. The journalists - among them NZZ media editor Rainer Stadler - spent more than two months doing research in the television studio.

The articles are available on Nzzfolio.ch available. At Facebook also shows a time-lapse video of how Studio 1 gradually becomes the backdrop for the "Benissimo" show.
