Facebook Studio Award: Walker wins gold

Last year, Facebook called for entries for the Facebook Studio Award. Campaigns were sought that convey the idea of "social by design" and convince through their creative implementation.

Well over a thousand applications were submitted from over 40 countries. Eleven campaigns from ten agencies in ten countries won the race. There is also a winning campaign from the German-speaking region: "Was Zürich braucht" by Walker from Zurich won gold. With "What Zurich Needs", Walker Advertising Agency realized a campaign for the Social Democratic Party of the City of Zurich in 2010, which used Facebook as a platform for activating young voters. The aim here was not to convince voters to vote for politicians, but rather to focus on the ideas of young voters. On Facebook, people were invited to share their ideas, wishes and suggestions for their hometown. The four ideas with the most votes were implemented by the party's candidates.
