New face on Tele 1
Central Switzerland's Tele 1 television is getting a new face for its "Unterwegs" program in the form of Damian Betschart. The program, which was successfully launched last September, will also be supplemented with three extra editions.
At the beginning of March, Damian Betschart will take over the program "Unterwegs" ("On the Road") from Tele 1 Central Switzerland Television. The program, which was launched last September, visits communities in the Tele 1 broadcast area and reports on interesting, curious and undiscovered facts. The 27-year-old Damian Betschart is no stranger to Central Switzerland. He was part of the morning crew at Radio Pilatus and will be hosting the new Radio Pilatus chart show every Friday starting in February.
With the start of Damian Betschart, the program "Unterwegs" will also be further developed. In addition to the weekly broadcasts, larger programs with live guests and shows are to be produced three times a year. The first major "Unterwegs" special will be broadcast on May 27.
