Radio 105 receivable via DAB+ as of November

Radio 105 will soon be receivable via digital radio (DAB+). By broadcasting via the DAB+ broadcasting network, Radio 105 will be receivable on the move throughout German-speaking Switzerland, i.e. also in the car.

For 105 Managing Director Giuseppe Scaglione, this marks the beginning of a new era: "It has always been my dream to operate a radio station that can also be received on mobile devices throughout German-speaking Switzerland. With DAB+, this is now possible. This is a quantum leap. The 105 brand is anchored throughout German-speaking Switzerland through cable and Internet broadcasting - we will now benefit disproportionately from these years of development work with DAB broadcasting," he was quoted as saying in a statement.

After a one-month test phase in November 2011, the youth station will then begin regular digital broadcasting operations on December 1, 2011.
