The broadcast of the advertising windows on TF1 will start on September 5, 2011. As a preview, OMD Switzerland, in cooperation with Ringier Romandie Sonntag, has been able to book all Swiss advertising blocks for its clients, writes the media agency in a statement. Michael Krause, Head of Electronic Media at OMD Opera, comments: "We are very pleased that we at OMD have found an open ear at Ringier Romandie with this creative idea and have thus been able to jointly agree this unique presence. We have thus succeeded in transferring the partnership relations between Ringier and OMD from the print sector to the TV sector right from the start."
TF1 is a serious player entering the TV market in western Switzerland, with reach ranging between TSR1 and M6 depending on the target group, according to the statement. It will start with an introductory offer in prime time, then from 2012 with a full offer of available TV advertising time. In addition, Ringier Romandie, which won the marketing of this new advertising window, will offer individual offers around TF1's lead programs.
