Local.ch app cracks the million mark
The local.ch app has been downloaded over one million times and is one of the three most popular mobile apps in Switzerland. Since 2009, local.ch has also offered the phone book and Yellow Pages for smartphones.
Local.ch offers free apps for the most popular cell phone types: iPhone, Android, Nokia, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry. The most frequently downloaded app is the iPhone version, and Local.ch has seen the strongest growth in downloads for phones with the Android operating system. Downloads for other device types are also growing steadily.
