Blick Group: Michael Perricone steps down as Head of the Politics Department
Michael Perricone is stepping down as head of the politics department in the newsroom of the Blick Group. He took over the job as head of politics from Jürg Lehmann at the beginning of March this year.
The move is at his own request, according to a statement on Friday. Whether and in what capacity Perricone will remain with the company is currently still being discussed. On an interim basis, the management and coordination of the politics department will be taken over by the board of editors-in-chief in the newsroom.
Perricone took over the job as head of politics from Jürg Lehmann at the beginning of March this year. He was previously deputy editor-in-chief of Blick am Abend.
