New voices at Radio 24

The Radio 24 team will be growing in the coming months. Dominik Widmer will become Radio 24's new weekend voice from July, while Bettina Bestgen will join the morning show editorial team from May.

Dominik Widmer has so far hosted the morning show at Radio Sunshine. The 25-year-old is studying media and communications at the University of Fribourg. He will do the daytime show on Saturdays and be heard in other weekend broadcasts.

The 24-year-old Bettina Bestgen was discovered when Radio 24 broadcast the morning show live from Baden in the fall of 2010 to celebrate the expanded broadcast area. Her appearance landed her an internship at the radio station, which she will finish at the end of April. In the morning show editorial team, she succeeds Nicole Schärer, who will move to morning show production at that time.

Furthermore strengthened Sara dew as an intern for the morning show for six months starting in May. The 22-year-old with Finnish-Italian roots studied applied linguistics at the ZHAW in Winterthur after completing her commercial training.
