Baz: Urs Buess released - David Thommen takes over

Urs Buess, deputy editor-in-chief of the Basel newspaper Baz, was released from his duties on Monday. His successor as deputy editor-in-chief will be David Thommen.

Urs Buess' resignation was already announced over the weekend. On Monday, Baz announced in a communiqué that Buess was being released from his position "at the mutual request of both parties, effective immediately. The new deputy editor-in-chief will be 44-year-old David Thommen. He was for many years Head of Department Baselland and is already a member of the editorial board today.
