Previously, she headed the "Lucerne Region" and "Religion and Society" departments.
According to the press release, the Wiler Nachrichten has 69,000 Wemf-certified readers and this year has seen a "noticeable increase in advertising". For this reason, the editorial team, which previously consisted of five men, will now be supplemented with a female editor-in-chief.
