Parship

In 2019, Bank Linth registered the brand "Paarship Banking". With this, the bank from Uznach SG wanted to put the relationship with the customers in the foreground and create a counterpoint to the digital focus of the banking industry, as the Handelszeitung writes.

This was opposed by Parship. The online dating agency applied for the complete revocation of the Swiss banking trademark "Paarship Banking". The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property IGE ruled in favor of Parship. The ruling in the trademark dispute is the Handelszeitung according to a recent publication. According to the losing bank, "Bank Linth accepted the injunction in summer 2021 and removed the term 'pairship banking' from all its communication channels."
