Evoq designs reception and store area for Zebrabox

Zebrabox Winterthur is the tenth location of the self-storage chain in Switzerland. The building, located directly on the highway between Zurich and St.Gallen, is also the first self-build of the storage provider. A completely new reception and store concept was therefore to be developed for the location.

The agency Evoq from Zurich invented the info box in zebra design as an eye-catcher in the reception area. The box is designed to give potential customers the opportunity to find out about the storage space on offer in an uncomplicated way via a touchscreen and to rent a Zebrabox directly at the same time. In the spirit of self-storage, this works without the presence of employees on site. Access to the reception and the storage rooms is controlled centrally by cell phone and codes.

Downstream from the reception area is a store that provides a clear overview of all conceivable packaging materials. For this purpose, Evoq designed a modular furniture system that attractively presents the different box formats and at the same time makes them available for pickup. Consumables such as adhesive tapes, padding material, or packing gloves are also available. The furniture concept can be adapted to any floor plan and is set to become the standard for future stores.

The choice of materials for the Infobox is based on the materials used in a storage room and thus on Zebrabox's branding. The color scheme, lighting, labeling, and communication were also created by Evoq. The reception and store area was implemented by Teamtischer Switzerland.
