Ringier Sports realigns itself

Ringier Sports, bekannt für die Vermarktung von Schweizer Vereinen, Verbänden und Veranstaltungen im nationalen Sport, richtet ihre Strategie per 1. Januar 2022 neu aus. Im Zentrum stehen die Vermarktung, Beratung und Digitalisierung, wobei die Abteilung «Merchandising & Licensing» von Hi-Pro übernommen wird.

Ringier Sports is refocusing on marketing, consulting and digitalization in sports, according to a statement from Ringier on Friday morning. As part of this strategic realignment, the company Hi-Pro will take over the "Merchandising & Licensing" department as of January 2022, with all rights and obligations to customers and suppliers, it added. At the same time, Hi-Pro will become a cooperation partner of Ringier Sports as well as Ringier AG for advertising and promotional items.

Chief Operating Officer Mark A. Rebsamen will remain in his role following the acquisition by Hi-Pro, according to the release.
