Jelmoli opens Luxury Traveller Store in Airside Center at Zurich Airport

Jelmoli is expanding its retail business for the first time in 20 years. The company has been present at Zurich Airport since March 2, 2020 with an attractive space in Airside Center Level 1, which is accessible to passengers with a valid boarding pass. The Luxury Traveller Store focuses on the needs of travelers and offers selected luggage in addition to luxury items. With a range of luxury brands, Jelmoli aims to underline its premium and luxury positioning.

The design of the store was realized with Mint Architecture. Gold elements meet light and dark surfaces and give the store a modern concept store look.

Frequencies to strengthen brand positioning

In addition to the high quality of the location with over 30 million passengers per year, the expansion offers great potential for a sustainable strengthening of the business model. On the one hand, the opening of a further site in the Zurich area brings economies of scale and synergy effects. On the other hand, the growing frequencies at Zurich Airport can be used to strengthen Jelmoli's market presence and brand positioning among international and Swiss customers.
