Department of Noise talks about "The Future of Audio Branding".

Branding experts and other interested parties met in a relaxed atmosphere on Wednesday evening at the Freiraum / Büro Züri of the ZKB on Bahnhofstrasse. The reason for this was the event "The Future of Audio Branding" initiated by the Zurich agency Department of Noise.

The three speakers Ph!L!pp Schweidler, Florian Goetze and Silvan Forster spoke about the developments in branding with regard to the audio-only touchpoint voice user interfaces. The focus was on the observed shift from a rational view of a brand to an emotional brand experience as well as the associated opportunity to make a brand recognizable and experienceable with "sound". Interesting insights into the status quo of voice user interfaces were also shown: At Amazon alone, 10,000 employees work exclusively on the voice assistant "Alexa".

With over 50 people present, the event was very well attended. "We were both amazed and delighted that so many people were interested in the topic," says Schweidler, Managing Partner of Department of Noise, adding with a wink, "Maybe word just got around that Büro Züri has excellent event catering."

The event was musically framed by Nickless, who is probably the only person present who has a Swiss Music Award on his nightstand. Over music and finger food, the topics of the evening were discussed at length. All in all, it was a harmonious event without geek alarm, offering a good mix of information and entertainment, as the After Event Movie shows.
