In a collaboration between Switzerland Tourism, the Grand Tour of Switzerland association and a total of 16 Swiss regional radio stations, radio listeners were asked this summer to submit their favourites for the soundtrack of a road trip in their respective regions.
This resulted in eleven different playlists, one for each stage. Each stage of the tour thus receives its own soundtrack, tailored to it.
The eleven playlists consist of between 40 and 100 songs and are available online now on Spotify.
The presence on the Swedish music streaming service Spotify is of great importance for the marketing of Switzerland as a holiday and travel destination. With its global reach and 207 million active users, the portal offers a valuable showcase for the road trip through Switzerland.
