With the help of the camera, dog owners can see their dog via the app, talk to it - and even throw it a treat at the touch of a button. The camera also has a night vision function and an automatic bark alarm: Dog owners receive a push notification on their smartphone when the dog barks. The camera is available now from Amazon Germany. The camera, which aims to give dog owners peace of mind when they have to leave the dog alone, was developed by Tomofun. With innovations, the company wants to offer joy and practical support to animal lovers worldwide.

When Bello barks, the app rings

With the empirical data of over 5,000 dog owners, veterinarians and dog trainers, it is Furbo specially designed for the needs of dogs. The camera includes a bark alarm that immediately notifies dog owners when their dog barks. Also integrated is a click sound that evokes positive associations in the dog for training purposes and a light scheme with blue and yellow light - tailor-made for dogs' eyesight.

Bello wants to play: The camera throws treats

"As a dog mom, it was unbearable for me when I had to leave my dog home alone. Other tech solutions allowed me to watch what he was doing at home - but there was no interaction possible. I couldn't talk him down or play with him," says Maggie Cheung, co-founder of Furbo. "That's why we created Furbo - to give dog owners the ability to be close to their pet no matter where they are."

Digital love for the animal

Furbo is the first dog camera equipped with an interactive treat-throwing system that makes it possible for master and dog to play together digitally. All dog parents have to do is fill their four-legged friend's favorite round treats into the camera's container and download the Furbo app (available for iOS and Android) onto their smartphone or tablet. Once they press a button via the app, treats fly out of the camera for the dog to snatch. "Technology solutions for animals are a rapidly growing industry. We are very proud to have developed a product that is not only the first of its kind, but also completely revolutionizes how we interact with our dogs when we are away from them. After great success in Asia and the USA, we are now very excited to bring Furbo to German-speaking users. We see ourselves as a pioneer in this booming field," says Victor Chang, Chief Executive Officer of Tomofun.
