Künzlerbachmann takes over Schober

Künzlerbachmann Directmarketing, based in St.Gallen, is taking over the Schober Information Group (Switzerland), based in Bachenbülach ZH, as of January 1, 2017.

With this strategically important takeover, the two long-established companies intend to substantially strengthen their leading positions in dialog marketing, according to a statement from Künzlerbachmann. The customers of both companies would benefit from a broader know-how and additional competence in established direct marketing. Together, they would be able to offer integrated, professional DM solutions. The range of services extends from broad-based DM campaigns to CRM and professional email marketing to state-of-the-art mailing production in digital printing, including lettershop.

The company Künzlerbachmann Directmarketing has its core competence in the areas of data, CRM/informatics and data analyses as well as mailing production. Schober complements this know-how with expertise in email and digital marketing as well as extensive BtoC, BtoB and email databases. Likewise, Schober brings the XCampaign software development team to the table.

Both companies will continue to operate independently in the market under their previous names and have their sites in St.Gallen and Zurich, employing more than 120 people. At the same time, they want to set the course for the age of digital transformation.

The Schober management team is fully behind this acquisition and will continue to develop the company and expand the product and service portfolio under the responsibility of the current CEO Stephan Obwegeser, the statement added.
