Comprinta gets a new partner with FO-Fotorotar. The commitment of FO-Fotorotar expands the existing partner network of Neidhart + Schön, Feldegg Medien, Bühler Druck, SWISS PAC and makes Comprinta one of the most important providers of sheetfed offset printing and print finishing in Switzerland.With the closing of ranks at the Comprinta printing center, which was spearheaded by FO-Fotorotar and Neidhart + Schön as the largest Comprinta partner to date, the Swiss printing companies are strengthening their market positions in the long term.Jürg Konrad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the FO Group, comments: "By acquiring a stake in the Comprinta printing center, the FO Group is setting the long-term course for FO-Fotorotar, one of the most efficient sheetfed offset printing companies in Switzerland. In the future, FO-Fotorotar will produce at two locations, in Egg and in Schwerzenbach, offering customers high production reliability and flexibility, short throughput times and direct access to modern UV coating units." At the same time, FO-Fotorotar is making a long-term commitment to the production site in Egg, where customer service, job control, prepress and postpress will continue to be located.The partnership-based cooperation in the Comprinta production center significantly strengthens the competitive power of the affiliated companies in the ongoing consolidation of the Swiss print market.
