Trendcommerce Group expands

The Trendcommerce Group is commissioning another continuous inkjet digital printing system due to increased demand.The reason for the new acquisition is the growing demand for individualized mailing productions and the increasing amount of outsourcing volume for printing and mailing sensitive documents such as account statements, stock exchange receipts, asset statements, invoice documents, policies and premium statements. Trendcommerce is now able to produce even more timely and high quality documents.The continuous inkjet digital printing system, now in its third year, enables an increase in production of over 30% and the handling of the highest volumes of individualized transactional documents. Print speeds of 122 meters per minute per system are possible as color or monochrome duplex printing. As of fall 2015, over 300 million confidential documents will be printed, packaged or electronically prepared and archived annually at the Gossau and Schaanwald (FL) site.Fulfills highly individual and at the same time broad customer requirementsThe new acquisition significantly expands the production capacity of the high-security printing center in Gossau. Trendcommerce was the first Swiss company to successfully commission two HP T230 continuous inkjet digital printing systems back in 2012. Due to the high demand and the acquisition of two new major customers from the banking and insurance sector, the third machine of this type will be installed from fall 2015.In the course of the new acquisition, all three printing systems will receive a quality upgrade, which will enable an even better print image thanks to a higher resolution. On the peripheral systems, personalized documents can be punched, perforated, joined and cut to the desired format. Customers benefit from fast white paper production without preprints. Print products are produced in any variety of grades as well as double-sided personalization in full color.
