Publicis Media takes over parts of media planning and buying for Reckitt Benckiser

The Reckitt-Benckiser business unit RB Health has commissioned Publicis Media with the strategic communications planning for brands such as Durex, Scholl and Strepsils. The mandate for digital planning and purchasing in the Central Europe region also goes to Publicis Media.

While strategic planning and the purchasing mandate for the RB Hygiene business unit will remain in the hands of Initiative Media and Plan.Net Media, the purchasing of all offline media in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will now be consolidated at Publicis Media for both divisions. In turn, Initiative Media will continue to assume this mandate in the Nordics region.

With the new partner, RB Health is responding to the changes brought about by the digital transformation both strategically and operationally, according to a press release. "Together with Publicis Media, we will accelerate the development towards holistic, consumer-focused communication," Julia Mellberg, Marketing Director Central Europe at RB Health, is quoted as saying in the press release. "This is imperative to ensure the future success of our brands such as Durex and Strepsils."
