The up-and-coming creatives in the categories Media, Print, Digital, Direct and Film gathered in the offices of Weischer.Cinema Switzerland to get to know each other personally before departing for the creative festival. Also present were Hanna Jackl, Project Manager at ADC Switzerland and responsible for the ADC Young Creatives Award, and Anna Kohler, Co-Editor-in-Chief and Publishing Director at m&k | Werbewoche.

A lively discussion about the motivation to participate in the "World Championship of Creative Advertising" arose during a pleasant get-together. For the young talents it is a unique chance to prove their skills in implementing a briefing of a real client. There is nothing greater than the festival in Cannes and the comparison with the global creative elite as a yardstick for their own skills. The tenor among the Young Lions was that it was also the best source of inspiration for new ideas. The teams also raved about the Weischer Young Lions Bootcamp, which took place digitally a week earlier. Of course, the teams of two are pursuing one big goal: winning the Golden Lion.

Christof Kaufmann, CEO of Weischer.Cinema Switzerland, motivated the Young Lions: "We are very happy to send such a big troop this year. The Cannes Festival is the best the world has to offer.
has to offer creatively. Be ambitious, but above all, enjoy it. Go beyond the limits - you have nothing to lose."

Hanna Jackl, project manager at ADC Switzerland, is happy that the partnership with Weischer.Cinema Switzerland came about and she also wishes the young creatives good luck: "We are already proud of you, you have qualified for participation in Cannes by winning the ADC Young Creatives Award. Bring the golden lions home with you - but be careful!
of all, have fun in Cannes and be inspired."

A great challenge and at the same time an unforgettable time in Cannes awaits the young talents. In addition to the competition, they will also listen to exciting lectures and take part in networking events. One of these is the Swiss BBQ, to which Weischer.Cinema Switzerland invites all Swiss delegates in Cannes, as it did last year. The participants can look forward to a relaxed get-together on Wednesday, June 21, starting at 12 noon.
