The versatility of administrative jobs and their attractive career opportunities, portrayed in four professionally shot (film) stories convinced the film jury. It is the career of Mona, who completes an administrative apprenticeship, later works as a civil registrar and property manager and, after passing further training as a municipal clerk, takes over the CEO management of a public administration. A success story in which love is not neglected.
The film was part of the multi-part image campaign carried out by the Zurich municipalities and cities in 2021 about their services and their role as an employer.
At the Association of Zurich Municipal Clerks and Administrative Professionals (VZGV), the internationally significant award has triggered great enthusiasm. "We can hardly believe it, what an honor!" says a delighted President Thomas-Peter Binder, municipal clerk of Gossau ZH. He accepted the award in person in the German town of Bingen am Rhein, where the award ceremony took place on the occasion of the international tourism trade fair "Back to Travel 2022" from 18 to 22 May 2022.
Jürg Rothenberger says: "I am very pleased with this award. Thanks go to all the people involved who made it possible - especially to the project team, which spent many hours over several months working out the stories, planning and realizing the film episodes. I always look back fondly on this time," enthuses Jürg Rothenberger, member of the VZGV board and municipal clerk of Männedorf, who initiated and led the project. Director Christoph Arni is also very pleased about the award. "The award also honors the collaborative development work in which this film was made, with stories from everyday administrative work that I would not have thought of myself."
